So far this thermos has performed admirably. It was good buy. It keeps drinks cold for hours and coffee hot for hours.
Of course, that's not going to keep anything hot nor warm for too long. He thanks me all the time for getting it for him. All he was using was a big plastic cup for his coffee to take with him in the mornings. He drives a truck all day and usually works from 12 to 14 hours a day. My fiance is usually up and out the door by 5 in the morning or earlier. it's durable, it's a perfect size, it holds quite a bit, it keeps your hot drinks hot for a long time and he's saving money since he no longer has to stop and buy coffee anywhere. My fiance loves this thermos. :[ So I checked on here and read quite a bit of reviews before making this purchase and I am so happy I did.
That's 10 hours later and it was still hot. Sometimes he'd have to stop somewhere and buy some. He has a 4 cup coffee maker and usually will drink one pot here at the house using his mug and then always wants some to take with him for work. Today he left the house at 5am and around 3pm he called to tell me that he just had his last cup of coffee and it was still hot. It actually got to where he wouldn't even take any coffee with him in the mornings. I felt bad. He loves everything about it. :]
I gave one of these to each of my two adult children, and they have raved about them, reporting that their coffee remained hot (not warm) for over six hours. Great size thermos for one person. Very sleek design.
I was so happy with the product, that I went out and bought myself a 16 ounce one for keeping my coffee hot all day at work. It is incredible.
I bought this for my husband to keep his coffee warm all morning long while on the boat. We did as instructed and first filled the thermos with boiling water and let stand for about 10 minutes, then added the coffee.
Fishing in December, on a lake, in a boat, in Virgina can be very very cold. It probably would have stayed warm longer, but he drank it all.
Well, a morning and afternoon out in 30 degree weather was nothing for this thermos. He left the house around 6am and the coffee was still warm at 2pm.
Highly HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking to keep drinks warm or cold (although, we haven't tried that approach yet). BIG FAN.
Does what it says on the box: Keeps drinks hot and doesn't leak. Little bigger than expected but otherwise all good.
